Starting early to teach money management skills will help our children avoid financial problems in the future. The savings rate in America is now negative; more and more people are living beyond their means. Saving and money management are learned skills that take time to develop. Talk to your child about the importance of saving and share your money management skills as you experience them in your everyday life.

Students Learn Money Management at the Moraine Student-Run Credit Union!

The Moraine Student-Run Credit Union is here to help students get into the habit of saving money and planning ahead for purchases. Encourage your child to save money regularly. Students can still open an account and start saving! Membership applications are available below, in the office, at any Community Financial branch or online

• You may open an account at any time. The Amerman Student-Run Credit Union will be open on selected days during the school year. Your welcome letter will include all deposit dates.
• These are actual savings accounts which may be accessed at any Community Financial branch during regular hours of operation, online, and at the student-run credit union at Amerman.
• These accounts will have no monthly service fee and no minimum balance required.
• Students will receive a receipt at the time of deposit and monthly statements will be mailed home.
