NPS Prepares for Second Annual District-Wide Inclusion Week: Embracing Diversity, Acceptance, and Love

Get ready, Northville! It's almost time for our 2nd annual District-Wide Inclusion Week, happening March 4-8! 

 

What is Inclusion Week, you ask? It's a celebration of everything that makes Northville so special – our inclusivity, our love, and our acceptance of EVERYONE. Whether you're a student, a teacher, a parent, or part of our amazing community, YOU belong here!

 

We've got some awesome themed spirit days lined up to help us spread the message of inclusion:

 

🌟 Monday: PJ Day – Celebrating self-acceptance! Come as you are and let your unique self shine! 
🌟 Tuesday: Jersey Day – Celebrating diversity! It takes all of us to make a team! 🏀
🌟 Wednesday: Superhero Day – Celebrating diverse abilities! Every person has their own superpower – let's celebrate them all! 💪🦸‍♂️
🌟 Thursday: Red and Pink Day – Promoting tolerance by spreading love and kindness! ❤️💗
🌟 Friday: Inclusion Week T-shirt or School Spirit Day – Let's all come together to celebrate inclusion! Wear your Inclusion Week T-shirt or show your school spirit with pride! 

 

But that's not all – each day, every building will be buzzing with activities that reflect the theme of the day. It's a chance for our kids to learn and grow in their understanding of inclusion, diversity, empathy, and self-acceptance. 

 

And hey, speaking of T-shirts – a HUGE thank you to everyone who purchased an Inclusion Week T-shirt! Your generosity helped us raise over $700, which we'll be donating to the New Hope Center for Grief Support. 

 

Plus, a group of high schoolers will be making special visits and spreading the message of inclusion through fun activities in every classroom.
