Students Learn Money Management at the Moraine Student-Run Credit Union!
Starting early to teach money management skills will help our children avoid financial problems in the future. The savings rate in America is now negative; more and more people are living beyond their means. Saving and money management are learned skills that take time to develop. Talk to your child about the importance of saving and share your money management skills as you experience them in your everyday life.
The Moraine Student-Run Credit Union is here to help students get into the habit of saving money and planning ahead for purchases. Encourage your child to save money regularly. Students can still open an account and start saving! Membership applications are available below, in the office, at any Community Financial branch or online at:www.CFCU.org
Fourth grade student volunteers operate the student-run credit union at Moraine. These students learn valuable career, math and leadership skills as they process transactions for the student members.
We make it fun to save money! The marketing students come up with creative ideas for raffles, treats and prizes for participants in the student-run credit union. Encourage your student to participate on deposit dates.
